Buyer & Seller Expectations
Each year we plan out the breeding of a few select mares to available stallions, if there is a specific cross that you are interested in, just ask about our options.
Our prices are set according to breed, training level, genetic testing, and/or color.
We do offer payment plans for most of our available foals and horses - the Buyer will be required to make a NON-REFUNDABLE** deposit (typically 20% of the sale price, negotiated at the time of sale) and the balance must be paid in full prior to any transportation.
{ **Deposit will only be refunded if the horse dies or is seriously injured, while in our care, before the sale is completed. }
Responsibilities as the Buyer:
- Calculate transportation costs - self or hauler (We can suggest a good hauler, but it is your responsibility to contact them and arrange pickup)
- Pre-purchase vet exam, if requested and/or required, as all foals and horses are sold "As-Is. With no warranties, implied or expressed."
- If choosing a payment plan, payments must be made no later than the agreed-upon date. Horse/foal must be paid in full prior to transportation.
- Board (if applicable), veterinarian, and farrier costs are the responsibility of the Buyer from the point of sale, while payments are being made. (Foals will not be charged board until after weaning)
- Pasture Board of $300 USD will be charged monthly if the sale is completed and the horse/foal is not picked up within the agreed time frame - refer to your sale agreement.
Responsibilities as the Seller:
- Age-appropriate care (farrier, shots, worming, etc.) for horse, mare and/or foal, as recommended by our veterinarian
- Additional conformation photos and video - as requested
- Submitting the transfer of registration to the appropriate registry or association after possession is complete
- Supply Buyer with a Bill of Sale and any medical records
